Kellie's Approach

Kellie's first priority is rapport and relationship building, as this is where the most powerful learning can occur. After discussions with individuals and families, Kellie can tailor services to suit your preferences and needs. Some individuals and families would prefer well-structured and formal sessions, while others would prefer play-based, person-led and practical learning, or a mixture of both. Kellie prefers to incorporate as many practical, hands-on, interest-based and real life opportunities as possible.

Kellie has a capacity building mindset, where she likes to set families up with skills, resources and approaches to continue to use at home and in the community . She is aware that most families are time-poor, so she does this in a way which is as simple and gradual as possible, taking the families lead.
